'The Queen of Cookery'
Born on 18 June 1941 in Woking.
She started reading cookery books in the Reading Room at the British Museum ... because she started to wonder why English food was so awful.
In the1970s she hosted the television show 'Family fare'. She became known simply as Delia.
Her success continued throughtout the 1980s and 1990s with her cookery programmes and accompanying books.
Her biggest passion is football, Norwich City Football Club.
